George Grillo Jr. - President
George Grillo Jr. is the recognized leader of the company and has a decade of experience in the residential housing and commercial construction industry. George Grillo Jr. functioned as the Superintendant for a residential builder. Duties included supervising employees, performing inspections of plumbing, framing, mechanical, and electrical work, overseeing jobs performed by subcontractors in various trades, overseeing customer claims under the builder's homeowner warranty program. He has a B.S. in Construction Management and an Associate's Degree in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Technical Institute. George is dedicated to doing what is necessary and right for his employees, and customers. George's passion, honesty, and integrity inspire all employees to be winners.
Richard Sank – Construction Manager/Vice President of Construction
Mr. Sank has more than 18 years of extensive experience in managing high-end commercial construction projects with an emphasis on government agency build-outs, upgrades, and renovations/restoration construction. His detail to coordination, quality control, and scheduling demonstrates his progressive responsibility with documented success at various organizational levels. A skilled, experienced professional who knows what is needed to get the job completed. Mr. Sank is also a motivated, conscientious worker who establishes and maintains relationships based on rapport and trust. Mr. Sank has full authority and responsibility for planning, financial management, scheduling and construction operations.
Adam Goldsmith – Master Electrician/Project Manager
Mr. Goldsmith has over 33 years of Electrical experience on Residential and Commercial construction. Mr. Goldsmith has been a certified Master Electrician since 1988 and has all other required certificates to run any type of project. Mr. Goldsmith assumes direct responsibility for all of his projects, and is fully capable of providing technical and supervisory guidance to any sub-contractors and Island Contracting, Inc. employees. Mr. Goldsmith is expected to obtain all required permits, passes, and outages while adhering to schedules and enforcing the proper safety procedures on all projects. Mr. Goldsmith is responsible for keeping projects on schedule, on budget, maintaining daily reports and time sheets, and assisting with as-builts if required. Also, Mr. Goldsmith is experienced and familiar with working with NAVFAC, D.O.D., and the US Army Corp of Engineers.
